Since 2013, excavations at the archaeological site of Sikyon in Greece, located just to the west of Corinth, have revealed a workshop complex that was active from the 1st to 7th century AD. This complex had pottery kilns, wine-pressing floors, a furnace for smelting iron, and a shop. In this talk we will explore what this production was like and how it tells us about the daily life of an ancient population and the jobs they carried out.
